Treasure Island

A dead sailor leaves a map. Jim Hawkins takes it to sea.

The voyage of the Hispaniola promises buried gold, but the crew has plans of its own. Jim discovers that the friendly ship’s cook, Long John Silver, knows far more about the island and its treasure than he admits. A barrel of apples becomes a hiding place; an overheard conversation turns adventure into a struggle for survival. On shore, a stockade, a marooned sailor, and shifting loyalties make every decision dangerous.

The map marks the treasure. It says nothing about whom to trust.
